Daughter of legendary Pioneer Laura Ingalls Wilder, Rose grew up in Missouri where she rode a donkey to school. She grew to become a famous author, newspaper woman, and world traveler. She convinced her Ma to write her life stories that became so well known as "Little House on the Prairie."
